Join the movement for a more accessible web.
Our mission
Help The Web is trying to make the web accessible to everyone, regardless of their abilities or disabilities.
How we can help
We're a community of designers, developers, and activists trying to make the internet more accessible to all. Want to work with us? Some of the cool things we're working on include:
- Website accessiblity audits
- Accessible website design and development
- Help local businesses get WCAG Compliant
- Educational resources and workshops
- ... and more!
Oh, did we mention all of this is completely free? Accessibility is a right and we believe it shouldn't be monetized.
Feel free to head over to our about us page to get a deeper dive into services we provide.
How you can help
Want to get involved? Send a note over to our volunteering team and we'll get you involved. We're always looking for people to help improve our tooling, helping write educational material, or anything else you might have in mind!
We're always looking for donations to help cover server and development costs. Everything donated goes towards our mission and any money left over gets reinvested into our community.
Are you a developer?
We're believers in open source. Because of that, all of our projects can be found on our GitHub under the MIT license.
We love contributions! If you find our projects useful, feel free to drop a star or donate to our GitHub Fundraiser.
Let's learn, together
We're in the process of contributing our knowledge back to the community through articles, code sandboxes, and newsletters. Look for blog posts on Medium and conference presentations soon.
